Q: What makes you the best candidate in the race?

I have been intimately involved in and served as a City volunteer board member since 1993. I attend all City Council and Planning & Zoning Commission meetings as well as many other Advisory Board meetings including Lakes Advisory, Transportation, Parks and Recreation and Development Review Committee. I've stayed informed on all facets of Maitland city issues as an extension of our residents.; I was named Maitland's 2012 Volunteer of the Year.; I am committed to preserving and enhancing our natural, locational, demographic and educational assets to leave a legacy for generations to come of which they can be proud for the next forty years. I have never shirked my duties/office/commitments as a public servant for the citizens of Maitland and will not. I am a public servant and steward, not a politician. I believe there's no higher role than serving my neighbors, friends and fellow citizens as part of our team on City Council. As Mayor, I will remain committed to seeing our plans become reality serving with integrity above reproach.
